The inaugural celebration kicked-off Wednesday night in Brattleboro.

Hundreds of Peter Shumlin supporters packed the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center to celebrate with him and wish him luck. The energy in the room was undeniable as the crowd was so happy to be sending a southerner to the executive office! Governor Shumlin thanked the crowd for their support and pledged to do bold work on their behalf.

Red Heart the Ticker, from Marlboro, kept us all bobbing our heads and tapping our feet as we sampled delicious food and drinks from local Vermont vendors.
