Vermont Governor Jim Douglas presents the National Lifesaving Award of Merit to Lindsey Fletcher. A Red Cross trained lifeguard, Fletcher received the prestigious award as a result of her life saving efforts this summer as she rescued a young girl at Smugglers Notch.
