Montpelier, Vt. – Governor Phil Scott issued the following statement regarding the passing of former Governor Phil Hoff:
“Governor Phil Hoff served Vermont and the country honorably in the State legislature, as Governor, and proudly in World War II. I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing him well, but he was a leader of integrity, and a kind person who dedicated his life to public service. I shared my condolences with his wife Joan this morning, and she and his entire family are in my thoughts.”
