Description: The Board shall have the power to call for, and receive, the assistance of any state, county or municipal official or employee in obtaining information regarding the population in any county, town, city, village, ward, precinct, or water, fire or school district. The Board is authorized to hold public hearings in any town or city for the purpose of obtaining information relevant to reapportionment of the general assembly; and to delegate, under regulations adopted by it, any of the foregoing powers to one or more of its members, or to investigators or hearing examiners in its employ.
