Governor Scott's Vision & Strategic Priorities

Vision

Vermont’s economy is growing faster than the costs of living; our state is measurably more affordable each year for families and businesses; and we are meeting our obligation to protect the most vulnerable.

Strategic Priorities

On his first day in office, Governor issued an executive order outlining the strategic priorities of the Scott Administration. They are to:

  • Grow the economy;
  • Make Vermont more affordable; and
  • Protect the most vulnerable.

The Scott Administration is committed to achieving these goals and measuring progress toward them. A regularly updated strategic plan guides this work.

Current Strategic Plan

How We Are Getting There

To achieve a stronger economy, more affordable Vermont and meet the obligation to protect the vulnerable, Governor Scott is focused on three core policy areas – Workers, Kids and Communities – while ensuring good government for Vermonters.
