At his weekly press conference Wednesday, Governor Phil Scott discussed the impact the Legislature’s veto overrides will have on Vermont taxpayers, workers and families and their ability to afford to live in the state.

Today, the Vermont Legislature voted to override the Governor on several bills, despite reasonable compromises being offered that would have made sure more parts of the state benefitted.

Eleven communities will use funds to make downtowns more welcoming and accessible.
