Governor Phil Scott today announced the composition of his Government Modernization and Efficiency Team (GMET), which he established via Executive Order 03-17 on his first day in office.

Governor Phil Scott is declaring the weekend of February 24 as Girl Scout Cookie Weekend in Vermont, and encourages Vermonters to “tag along” by celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scout Cookie Program.

Governor Phil Scott declared the week of February 19 as Engineering Week in Vermont. The week is designated to recognize both practicing and aspiring engineers, and the value of scientific and technical skills to help move industry, society and the economy forward.

Governor Phil Scott today announced the appointment of Emily Boedecker as commissioner of the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and Riley Allen as deputy commissioner of the Department of Public Service.
